DIRECTIONS
The Victoria is situated at the bottom of Dovecote Lane off the A6005 Queens Road. It stands adjacent to the east ‘Nottingham bound’ platform of Beeston Railway station. The station is well served by local trains from Nottingham,Leicester & Derby. To reach the pub for those arriving from Leicester or Derby trains you need to exit on to Station Road, turn left into Barton Street & left again into Dovecote Lane. Those alighting from Nottingham exit from the westbound platform, proceed along the rear of the platform and over the pedestrian footbridge to drop you nicely into the public bar. For those travelling by bus from Nottingham the No.13 runs a frequent service, the nearest stop being on the corner of Queens Rd & Station Rd. Click here for a map.

CAR PARKING
Parking is an eternal problem at the Vic. We have very limited space in our car-park & immediately outside the building. There is plenty of on-street parking within a few minutes walk but please do not park illegally. Unfortunately, due to the selfishness of a few individuals, we have had unnecessary confrontations with our long-suffering neighbours. Please park sensibly and with due care & consideration. Do not obstruct driveways or the entrance to our car-park!
Incidentally, there are loads of spaces on Technology Drive on the other side of the railway via Station Road – entrance the Vic via the footbridge!
Better still, leave the car at home and catch a train, bus or taxi.

CHILDREN
Contrary to popular belief, the staff of the Victoria are not frosty towards children –we’re just frosty towards parents who refuse to keep their children under control in what is essentially an adult environment! Well-behaved children are welcome in the non-bar areas until 8.00p.m. only. Please note, though, we do not have a children’s menu, high-chairs or a playground.

MOBILE PHONES, LAP-TOPS ETC
We would kindly request that patrons do not use mobile phones inside the pub! If you cannot bear to be parted from your loved one to enjoy a nice quiet pint, at least have the decency to switch to silent/vibrate and receive or make calls outside the building.
Lap-Tops………we are a pub, not an office – need we say more!

We are more than happy to cater for special dietary requests, food allergies, etc-all we ask as a little advance warning (give us a ring!). By the very nature of our menu style we are unable to list each individual ingredient – if you have any queries please ask before ordering.

50% of our menu is vegetarian or vegan!

SPECIAL REQUESTS
Given sufficient notice we can sometimes cook special meals for small or large groups i.e. Paella, Fruit de Mer, Tapas etc. Please ask!
